1. Is it in line with the bible? Is it in line with the truth of God? (Discernment)

2. Am I operating on the basis of love? (Self examination)

3. Am I being offensive for myself or for God? (Wisdom)

4. Does the Holy Spirit approve? Am I with peace when I decide to go ahead with the decision or plan? (Spirit led)

5. Then focus on the promises and the words of God, not on the circumstances or consequences. If you have examined yourself and seek the counsel of God, you sincerely desire to live in God's will, you do not have to fear or worry you do not walk in His will. He will guide and leads you to the right path.
