Scriptures for dream of man cutting flesh on 19 Oct 15
The Lord is exhorting me not to trust in man or in my own strength (thigh symbolize strength), not to turn my heart away from Him. But trust in Him and allow the sword of the holy spirit which is the word(s) of God to pierce into my flesh, my joint and marrow, to divide my soul and spirit. He will discern my thoughts and the intents of my heart.
heb.4.12.nkjv
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
heb.4.12.nlt For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
jer.17.5-10.nkjv
Thus says the Lord : "Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord . For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited.
"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord , And whose hope is the Lord . For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. "The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord , search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.
jer.17.5-10.nlt
This is what the lord says: "Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the lord . They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land. "But blessed are those who trust in the lord and have made the lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. "The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the lord , search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve."
