Therefore men n women are equal but they are different with different role n function.

**We are saved by grace to do good works. We are not to work so that we can be saved. But we are saved to do His good works. We are His workmanship. Created in Christ Jesus for a good work.

Connection between works and Kingdom of God.
- we are saved by Christ to be the hands n feet of Jesus Christ. To do good works.
- we are to do excellent work
Work - business or employment. Your occupation.
We are to do it well with excellence.

God so often does the opposite of what the world does. He chosen a shepherd boy to be king (David). Jesus borned & raised in a simple family without social status. Father a carpenter and worked with his hands.

Work is a curse of God. Only animals work.
Has economy impact on nations.

Secular Work is for purpose of the cost of consumption. How much money you make?
Give up the things that matter most for sake of money.

Working in mission doesn't meant it's a higher calling. It's a different calling.
- a place for spiritual outreach
If you organise prayer meeting etc in workplace to justify you are doing secular work then it is not biblical.
- go overseas or work among unreached are more spiritual than staying home

We are to be people of faith and also people who think (reason).
God is the Lord of all life

We do not function the same or look the same

ALL belong to Jesus Christ!
He wants His people to be in all places to represent Him.

Christian we use the word "vocation" not career.
Vocation- God's voice calling us

Occupation- we are to occupy territory for Christ . Not just a job.

Different calling but serve the same Lord. One is not more important or more spiritual than the other.

Psalm 139:13-16

The call began from his mother's womb
He did not understand as child or adult
He knew it when he was 30 years old

"Now it happened, as I journeyed and came near Damascus at about noon, suddenly a great light from heaven shone around me. And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?'  So I answered, 'Who are You, Lord?' The voice was for Paul. It was the day Paul was saved. "You will be told all things which are appointed for you to do"
I am saved because God has an assignment for me. I am made by the hands of God . Made for an assignment. So that I can know what the assignment and walk in it.

Exodus 36, 40:33-34

Money has little important as compared to the bigger picture God has.
God wants us to contribute to the kingdom of God. Thank him for making me and lord I want to know my assignment.
