Now the Lord said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons." Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

Yesterday man - king Saul - lost anointing though got power and platform

Today man - fill your horn with oil

Tomorrow man - David - no platform no mailing list he's a nobody but has anointing

Anointing without crown or

Crown without anointing?

Nothing to do with age retirement. it has everything to do with anointing (conscious approval of God) 

I would rather have that than anything!

1 Sam 13 - how to become yesterday man? 

- Consume by jealousy over others gifts and anointing

- not accountable to anybody

- conscious approval of God lifted up from him

- gifts are irrevocable though no more anointing

Don't look at the gifts of man

Saul goes against scriptures doing his own way

Devout God's words 

Scriptures is Holy Spirit greatest product

Understand and follow scriptures

To correct us. God will not contradicts with scriptures (His words)

Today man - willing to come out of comfort zone

- Always at cutting edge

- put God first

- risk his life to obey God

- you will be amazed at who God chose (e.g. David)

V7 do not consider appearance 

God sees the hearts

- humility and integrity to admit mistakes

- Spirit of God came on David in power when he was still a nobody. he ran from Saul over 20 years

*A man succeed before he was ready is the most worst thing ever happen.*

- you are a mam after God's heart, God will not let you succeed before you are ready

- everybody anointing needs to be refined

- David needed to learn sensitivity of the Holy Spirit

- you are being trained for something by God that nobody would be trained for same

Mercy - You deserved justice but God merciful to you and not do it on you

- By the Lords mercy we are not consume

- gratefulness thankful to God

Philippines 4:6

- God is going to make sure that you don't get there until you are ready

- don't try succeed before God's time

Greatest fault of prophetic person - nvr say sorry when they gets it wrong
