Sacrifice is chosen when it is alive. Before we died to ourselves.
God inspecting our lives before choosing us as sacrifices.
Examine my thoughts and my hearts. Repent.
Holy sacrifice.
Appropriate sacrifice - acceptable
Allow HS to change our lives
And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, 'I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.' Acts 13:22 NKJV
God desires that we do all that are in God's heart
We are suppose to be kings and priests
David is said to be doing all the will of God
Consequences of Moral sins are far huge consequences in our lives
Moral decisions are crucial in our lives
Wait upon the Lord to recharge your strength
Vigilantly watch - watchman on tower
Don't wait till enemies came near
Wait upon God to receive revelation - things happen in future and when n what to do
We need to be trained. Experiment and ask God about our motives
Be honest of yourself judge yourself first
Before God judges you
God show me my motives. If my motive is wrong I don't want it.
Do the opposite of what I normally do.
When Wait, u need to dependant on God.
Your knowledge training intellect etc are in vain
Even more vulnerable to God
Overcome evils by submitting to God first
Chosen and found faithful
Example: Abraham's father remained in the tragic of loosing his sons
When God draws you. Mean He is attracted to you.
By being in love with God. Far more than human love.
Access to God needs to be earned. Not by the things you do but by the christlikeness in me. *God is attracted to those who are like His Son.*
Enlarge the thing God teaches.
Become like God
Jesus marry the image of Himself
Qualifications of being chosen:
Die to self or dependable on God
Lordship of Christ
Orientation in life central in God
Humility
1 John 2:16 lust of flesh eyes and pride of life
Be strong
Abiding in God
Overcome wicked ones - replace each lie with the truth
The only way - wait upon the Lord
Mature to hv the mind of Christ
To think like Christ
Super creative mind
We need to be in the state of rest all the time
One submit to God must also submit to man
Submission - blessings
Do not isolate yourself
True father will correct you
