*_"God Is Holy"*_

- Holiness is the only attribute that belongs to God alone. 

God is love, kind, just, and many people have love, justice and kindness in their hearts. But no human is holy. 

 Isaiah 6*1-8

- One of the definitive passages of God's holiness. 

If you want to serve someone, you've got to know what the person is like. 

In the same way, if we do not understand who God is, and what's His heart's desire, we can't serve Him properly. 

- God reveals Himself mainly for 2 reasons: To save you, and then to send you. 

We need our lips to be touched.

_Holy - qadosh; hagios = To be set apart, dedicated to God._

- Many times we think of Holiness as 'don't sin'.

The Holy Bible means that this book belongs to Him. It's not about whether it can or can't sin. 

Whatever belongs to God is Holy. God's work must be done God's way. 

If we regard God as Holy, we must obey what He tells us.

- Peter just walked and his shadow healed people! It wasn't Peter, it was the glory of God on Peter. And Peter realized that he has to live holy, because God is Holy. 

We have to live Holy and the only One that can help us is the Holy Spirit.

- He's known as Holy Spirit, not Loving Spirit or Gracious Spirit. 

We cant save Philippines in our own strength, but if we allow Him to use us and be our strength, the Philippines will be saved.

Leviticus 10*1-3

- They burned the wrong kind of fire. 

God's fire can never ever go out. It's His fire, but our responsibility to keep the fire alive. 

But instead of using God's fire, they used their own fire. 

- When you get on the stage or pulpit, don't use your own gifting and strength.

Fast, pray, humble yourself and make sure whatever that's in you is the Power of the Holy Spirit. 

- When you don't pray, you're saying that you can preach, you can lead worship. And as a result, nobody's transformed because what's being released is man's gifting, not the Holy Spirit. 

God does not what your fire, cleverness or gifting. God wants the fire of the Holy Spirit.

Lock your doors, pray and ask the fire of the Holy Spirit to come and burn upon you.

- When you come to serve God, make sure your mind is alert. It means coming to church and leading without being tired. You come prepared. 

Sunday morning is special. Yes, you can pray by yourself, but when 2 or 3 are gathered in His Name, there's power. Prepare your heart, come alert and take down what God is saying to you.

Many Christians like drunkards, don't remember or have a clue what the pastor said after sunday service!

Come prepared to the house of God.

- Seraphim = fiery ones. Angelic beings belonging to the highest order, associated with great light, passion and purity. 

Angels around God are full of light. If I want to be close to Him, I must be full of light. Full of passion. There's nothing calm about God.

God calms storms but He's not calm. He's a consuming fire, He's not a tame lion. A zeal for God's house consumed Jesus. 

Hebrews 12*14

- Pursue - dioko = Like a hunter chases prey.

Without holiness, no one will see God. 

- Holiness is 'do you belong to Him?' Do your eyes belong to Him?

If you want to see Heavenly things, you can't see the dirty things of hell with this eyes. 

- Most christians are dating God, not married to God. Coming to church on Sundays, but on Monday they don't even talk to God anymore. 

You don't have to ask God to come when you're always with Him. 

Romans 7*24-25

- Speaking of someone living under the law. 

Romans 8*1-6

- Everything starts with a confession. Stop blaming people and take responsibility to do what's right. 

- Does your mouth belong to God? If so, what are you saying? Praising God one time, and then scolding people the next. 

We have all stumbled with things that we've said. But we need God to take fire and touch our heart and mouths.

Matthew 22*14

- Those chosen are those that volunteer and raise their hands in willingness. Where everything you have and you are, belongs to Him. 

If your time belongs to Him, you have more than enough time to pray and read the Bible. 

- God wants to send you, and He wants you to make a decision today. 

- Lot was righteous, but not holy. 

Abraham taught Lot the ways of God. But righteousness is a gift by faith, holiness is a decision.  (Romans 5*17)

When you believe, God declares you righteous, but holiness is a decision on your part.
