LifeWork - Darrow L. Miller (Disciple Nations Alliance)

Take time to sit down and hear their story
Question on gender:
God, Jesus and Holy Spirit (sealed in us) have different role but all involved in the work of salvation.
Therefore men n women are equal but they are different with different role n function.

The city is female.
The foundation of the city is male.
Jesus overthrew the sex order.

having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the  names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Revelation 21:11-14 NKJV

Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and  be their God. having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. LifeWork

Why work?
Now and the not yet

Two ways of life (error)
The perfect life - think only no sweat. Sacred
The permitted life - sweat. Secular
Work is cursed (error)

Martin lurthur - reformation

The results of Sola Fide
●For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it  is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV
●destroyed the dichotomy between the sacred and Secular
●give dignity to labour. Their life and work measured.
●restore the priesthood of all believers 1 Peter 2:9
●Restored the cultural mandate to develop the earth

**We are saved by grace to do good works. We are not to work so that we can be saved. But we are saved to do His good works. We are His workmanship. Created in Christ Jesus for a good work.

Connection between works and Kingdom of God.
- we are saved by Christ to be the hands n feet of Jesus Christ. To do good works.
- we are to do excellent work
Work - business or employment. Your occupation.
We are to do it well with excellence.

Paul S. Minear

God so often does the opposite of what the world does. He chosen a shepherd boy to be king (David). Jesus borned & raised in a simple family without social status. Father a carpenter and worked with his hands.

- work is worship. All true work is sacred.

Now I don't do it for myself but for God and for His Kingdom.
We are not to do christ work. But we are to do what we do the way Christ will do it if He was us.

Worldview & WORK:

The curse of Fate
Work is a curse. Something we do because we have to.

The black man of the Batei

I'm called the black man of the Batei
Because for me "work" is like an enemy
All work I'll leave it to the ox
Because God made work as a punishment [italics added].

I like to dance this merengue music
To dance it with a black good-looking lady
I like to dance it, all night, from side to side
To dance it hugging closely my nice good-looking lady.

I like to dance merengue,
Merengue's better than work
Because having to work
It causes me a great pain [italics added].

Work is a curse of God. Only animals work.
Has economy impact on nations.

Secular Work is for purpose of the cost of consumption. How much money you make?
Give up the things that matter most for sake of money.

Evangelical Gnosticism

Error: living in two world: Deployment
-The higher calling
Working in mission doesn't meant it's a higher calling. It's a different calling.
- a place for spiritual outreach
If you organise prayer meeting etc in workplace to justify you are doing secular work then it is not biblical.
- go overseas or work among unreached are more spiritual than staying home

We are to be people of faith and also people who think (reason).
God is the Lord of all life

The unique contribution
-Each has unique calling
We do not function the same or look the same

Christ's Sovereignty
ALL belong to Jesus Christ!
He wants His people to be in all places to represent Him.

The general call
The particular call

Consecrated or Un consecrated
Not Secular or sacred
E.g. a pastor commit adultery
A motorcycle engineer repair n charge honestly

Christian we use the word "vocation" not career.
Vocation- God's voice calling us

Occupation- we are to occupy territory for Christ . Not just a job.

A mind that think biblically about work

Alternative universe - God's Kingdom
Changes life and mindset
Do you want to take christ seriously? Instead of just hv Jesus in yr heart.

Different calling but serve the same Lord. One is not more important or more spiritual than the other.

Psalm 139:13-16

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood, nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who  were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.
Galatians 1:15-17 NKJV

The call began from his mother's womb
He did not understand as child or adult
He knew it when he was 30 years old

"Now it happened, as I journeyed and came near Damascus at about noon, suddenly a great light from heaven shone around me. And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?'  So I answered, 'Who are You, Lord?' And He said to me, 'I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting.' "And those who were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid, but they did not hear the voice of Him who spoke to me. So I said, 'What shall I do, Lord?' And the Lord said to me, 'Arise and go into Damascus, and there you will be told all things which are appointed for you to do.'
Acts 22:6-10 NKJV

The voice was for Paul. It was the day Paul was saved. "You will be told all things which are appointed for you to do"
I am saved because God has an assignment for me. I am made by the hands of God . Made for an assignment. So that I can know what the assignment and walk in it.

Exodus 36, 40:33-34

Money has little important as compared to the bigger picture God has.
God wants us to contribute to the kingdom of God. Thank him for making me and lord I want to know my assignment.

Gendercide (Darrow Miller)

The rise of feminism

● Christ was the first feminist
● First wave - maternal feminism
- 19th - early 20th century
-Biblical worldview or its memory
-Interested in others (understand men and women are equal in dignity and value though different in physical structure and personality)
-women highly valued in motherhood
We are made in the image of God
Men and women are different but equal

Maternal Feminist's Fight
●Against male value system and power structure
●to get women out of the sweatshops and into the home
●for a family wage
● pro-life - *anti abortion
●abolition of slavery
● women's suffrage 选举权

Biblical framework
Proverbs 31

● Second wave - modern feminism
-Mid to late 20th century
-Secular humanism - Meta-narrative
Different understanding of sexuality
-Interested in SELF not others (god doesn't exist. I am the central of the universe)
Women value in their being
-Stood against female value system
-To get women out of the home into the marketplace
Our value comes from material things. From the marketplace  (where you make money). Yr value is determined by the amount of money u made. Defined by the society
-Pro abortion (choice) - limit women choice
-Sexual revolution - sex without responsibility
Make women equal to men (how? By having sex without responsibility) =>pro abortion

Influence of communism:
Materialism - human are instructment of production
Woman value is defined in marketplace
Un pregnant - enabled women to be like men
Chemical - pill used
Women objectify themselves

● Third wave - post modern feminism
Late 20th and early 21st century
Secular humanism - no Meta-narrative
Overthrowing male and distinction
Interchangeability (male and female)
No essentialism - Male and female are the same
There is no male sex and female sex
Stand against male value system
"Male and female in one"

Changes of language of culture:
Sacredness        quality of life
Abortions            pro choice
Pro life                anti choice
Baby                     tissue or product of conception
Sex                        gender
*biologically        *no meaning. Yr choice

Bisexual sexual to both
Transvestites dress n act like opposite sex
Transgender surgery to change to other sex

Marriage a sacred covenant (biblical)
A social contract (worldview)
A personal commitment (worldview) - marry to many or between same sex

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Words from King Jesus My Majesty & dream 25 Feb 2016

My dear child, My grace is sufficient for you. When I call you I enable you. Do not fear do not worry. You are never to rely on your own strength and intellectual, I am your strength and your wisdom. Call on Me and depend fully on My Holy Spirit. He will guide you and lead you, He will reveal to you what that you do not know. He dwells in you and counsel you and comfort you. He loves you as I have loved you. He is the perfect representative of Me. You can fully trust in Him. My sheep hears my voice and you hear Me and obey. I have prepared a table for you and you are to eat of it and be satisfied. Be faithful. I am the One who has chosen you and I will enable you. I call you and I equip you. I am in you and you are in Me. Dive deeper into Me and be filled with Me. Rest in Me. I provide and I lead. I call and I open the way. I have given you the keys to the doors that you are to open with the authority I have given you. You represent My Son and Me, My Son and the Holy Spirit are One. Remember I am your Father. Trust Me. Obey Me. There is no other way. Faith goes before you. Obey and do it by faith.

Dream:
I was talking to Sammi through mobile phone.
She did not answer me when I question her. So I told her she would not be permitted to go her friend house next time if she refused to answer me.

Sammi handed me a letter. The letter was to informed that she would be attending cell group on every Friday. She will leave her current "non christian group". I was reading the letter to discern whether the cell group was teaching the truth.

I went into a room with many clothes handing on the ceiling. I felt that It was very untidy with clothes hanging. I went thru the room and went into a space without hanging clothes.
I took out my shirt thinking that there were no one in the room. However I met familiar faces and I quickly ran away to put on my shirt again as I was half naked.

I couldn't recall the details of the dream but the word "task" I remember.

********************************
The Determination to Serve

The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve… —Matthew 20:28

Jesus also said, "Yet I am among you as the One who serves" (Luke 22:27). Paul's idea of service was the same as our Lord's— "…ourselves your bondservants for Jesus' sake" (2 Corinthians 4:5). We somehow have the idea that a person called to the ministry is called to be different and above other people. But according to Jesus Christ, he is called to be a "doormat" for others— called to be their spiritual leader, but never their superior. Paul said, "I know how to be abased…" (Philippians 4:12). Paul's idea of service was to pour his life out to the last drop for others. And whether he received praise or blame made no difference. As long as there was one human being who did not know Jesus, Paul felt a debt of service to that person until he did come to know Him. But the chief motivation behind Paul's service was not love for others but love for his Lord. If our devotion is to the cause of humanity, we will be quickly defeated and broken-hearted, since we will often be confronted with a great deal of ingratitude from other people. But if we are motivated by our love for God, no amount of ingratitude will be able to hinder us from serving one another.

Paul's understanding of how Christ had dealt with him is the secret behind his determination to serve others. "I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man…" (1 Timothy 1:13). In other words, no matter how badly others may have treated Paul, they could never have treated him with the same degree of spite and hatred with which he had treated Jesus Christ. Once we realize that Jesus has served us even to the depths of our meagerness, our selfishness, and our sin, nothing we encounter from others will be able to exhaust our determination to serve others for His sake.

WISDOM FROM OSWALD CHAMBERS

Fellowship in the gospel

"..fellow laborer in the gospel of Christ.." 1 Thessalonians 3:2

After sanctification, it is difficult to state what your purpose in life is, because God has moved you into His purpose through the Holy Spirit. He is using you now for His purposes throughout the world as He used His Son for the purpose of our salvation. If you seek great things for yourself, thinking, "God has called me for this and for that," you barricade God from using you. As long as you maintain your own personal interests and ambitions, you cannot be completely aligned or identified with God's interests. This can only be accomplished by giving up all of your personal plans once and for all, and by allowing God to take you directly into His purpose for the world. Your understanding of your ways must also be surrendered, because they are now the ways of the Lord.

I must learn that the purpose of my life belongs to God, not me. God is using me from His great personal perspective, and all He asks of me is that I trust Him. I should never say, "Lord, this causes me such heartache." To talk that way makes me a stumbling block. When I stop telling God what I want, He can freely work His will in me without any hindrance. He can crush me, exalt me, or do anything else He chooses. He simply asks me to have absolute faith in Him and His goodness. Self-pity is of the devil, and if I wallow in it I cannot be used by God for His purpose in the world. Doing this creates for me my own cozy "world within the world," and God will not be allowed to move me from it because of my fear of being "frost-bitten."

WISDOM FROM OSWALD CHAMBERS

There is nothing, naturally speaking, that makes us lose heart quicker than decay—the decay of bodily beauty, of natural life, of friendship, of associations, all these things make a man lose heart; but Paul says when we are trusting in Jesus Christ these things do not find us discouraged, light comes through them.

The tree of life

And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."

Matthew 17:1-13

Jesus was constantly revealing Himself to the disciples. Jesus opened their eyes and revealed to the disciples so that they saw the appearance of moses and elijah. They saw what that physical eyes cannot see. It was a vision. It truly taking place and our physical eyes couldn't see unless the Lord open our spiritual eyes. Whatever the spiritual eyes see is more real than what we see with out physical eyes. Our physical eyes can only see parts or see nothing.

Jesus never hide from me. He is constant revealing Himself and the Father to me. I was blinded when I was ignorance. It wasn't because He keeps, hide or hold back from us, it was because our hearts were blinded, therefore we cannot see what He wants us to see or already given to us to see.

What I see in a vision is real!

Testimony

Since primary school time I had a only and best friend who always shared the gospel with me. Finally she lead me to say the sinner prayer at age 12. Due to family objection I did not go deep and there was no mentor to disciple me.

At the age of 16 I rededicated my life to Jesus. Those were the most happiest time in my life.

At age of 17 I backslidden and the many years of living in sins and struggles in my flesh were the most darkest periods of my life.

I was baptised in a Chinese family church after I returned to the Lord. However, I found myself still struggled with sins and was not growing in the church.

Until I started attending Cornerstone Community Church in Oct 2013. Since then I see the transformation in myself. I am very grateful that God led me to Cornerstone. I received lots of revelation of Him and I began to hear the truth that I had never hear in my previous church. He opened my eyes to see and ears to hear and heart to perceive after I obeyed His calling to go Cornerstone. I was hungry for the truth.

I want to be discipled first so that I can go and disciple others. I am seeking God for direction and I want to be walking in His will and fulfil His calling for me. I do not want to miss the destiny that He has given for me. I want to know His heart for the nation. I want to use the rest of my life to serve Him and give myself fully to Him.

Diary record

16 Feb 2016 was my 2nd session of deliverance by freedom ministry.
As the minister was praying for me, one question that the Lord revealed to me that it was in my heart. I wasn't aware of this question.

I asked the Lord:" Show me if you were there with me all this while?"

I asked the Lord to show me in the way that He always speak to me, that He was there with me in ALL the situations I had been through, including before I was formed in womb, when I was being formed in my mother's womb, when I was borned and my life journey after birth until now. In my most darkest moments of my life, when I was struggling and living in sins, my most lonely times, my most grievance times, times when I was bullied in school, when I was mocked by teacher and classmates, when I was slapped by my teacher, my most happiest times, etc.

Happiest moment:

My grandma picked flower for me from the wild field when we detoured to hide from the "地牛".

Packet nasi lemak after school for my grandma and aunt and ate with them.

Saddiest moment:

Grandma did not remember me before she passed on. The days spent with her before she died.

Words from King Jesus, my Majesty

My child, arise and shine. Because you are My beloved child. Take the initiative when My Spirit inspired you, and I will show you and direct you the way. A man fully for Me, is whom I am looking for. Step out in faith. Everything happen simply for a reason - I love you. If you set your heart to believe, you shall not stumble. Do you believe that I love you? Have you set your heart for Me?

My utmost for His Highest: The Inspiration of Spiritual Initiative

Arise from the dead… —Ephesians 5:14

Not all initiative, the willingness to take the first step, is inspired by God. Someone may say to you, "Get up and get going! Take your reluctance by the throat and throw it overboard— just do what needs to be done!" That is what we mean by ordinary human initiative. But when the Spirit of God comes to us and says, in effect, "Get up and get going," suddenly we find that the initiative is inspired.

We all have many dreams and aspirations when we are young, but sooner or later we realize we have no power to accomplish them. We cannot do the things we long to do, so our tendency is to think of our dreams and aspirations as dead. But God comes and says to us, "Arise from the dead…." When God sends His inspiration, it comes to us with such miraculous power that we are able to "arise from the dead" and do the impossible. The remarkable thing about spiritual initiative is that the life and power comes after we "get up and get going." God does not give us overcoming life— He gives us life as we overcome. When the inspiration of God comes, and He says, "Arise from the dead…," we have to get ourselves up; God will not lift us up. Our Lord said to the man with the withered hand, "Stretch out your hand" (Matthew 12:13). As soon as the man did so, his hand was healed. But he had to take the initiative. If we will take the initiative to overcome, we will find that we have the inspiration of God, because He immediately gives us the power of life.

Words from King Jesus, My Majesty

My child, be faithful and come under the authority of My servant whom I have appointed and anointed with My Holy Spirit. Remember the desires I have put in you? You did not birth them, they are from Me. And only I can do it through you. Call to Me and I will show you your destiny.  Wherever you go as you go left or go tight  there will be a voice behind you telling you this is the way. It is My Voice telling you My Way. You do not judge or decide what you can do or cannot do, I decide. Listen to My Voice. Flow with My Spirit. You will not go wrong if your heart desire is for Me. I see your heart and not your appearance, intellectual or skills. My mission I decide what are required, not the world. You have no right to your life and what you are going to do with it. I redeemed you and you are Mine. I decide where you are to go and I place you under the authority of my faithful servant. Watch and look out for that faithful servant, he will disciple you. I am assigning you to my faithful servant who will disciple you. Submit to him. Be still and know that I am God, I will lead you and guide you, I will direct your path. Learn to serve in a community. You need your brothers and sisters and they need you. I am a God of diversities. I am the God of a man, the God of a community and the God of a Kingdom. Seek first My Kingdom and all these things shall be added unto you.

8:35 AM

Am I my brother's keeper?

None of us lives to himself… —Romans 14:7

Has it ever dawned on you that you are responsible spiritually to God for other people? For instance, if I allow any turning away from God in my private life, everyone around me suffers. We "sittogether in the heavenly places…" (Ephesians 2:6). "If one member suffers, all the members suffer with it…" (1 Corinthians 12:26). If you allow physical selfishness, mental carelessness, moral insensitivity, or spiritual weakness, everyone in contact with you will suffer. But you ask, "Who is sufficient to be able to live up to such a lofty standard?" "Our sufficiency is from God…" and God alone (2 Corinthians 3:5).

"You shall be witnesses to Me…" (Acts 1:8). How many of us are willing to spend every bit of our nervous, mental, moral, and spiritual energy for Jesus Christ? That is what God means when He uses the word witness. But it takes time, so be patient with yourself. Why has God left us on the earth? Is it simply to be saved and sanctified? No, it is to be at work in service to Him. Am I willing to be broken bread and poured-out wine for Him? Am I willing to be of no value to this age or this life except for one purpose and one alone— to be used to disciple men and women to the Lord Jesus Christ. My life of service to God is the way I say "thank you" to Him for His inexpressibly wonderful salvation. Remember, it is quite possible for God to set any of us aside if we refuse to be of service to Him— "…lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified" (1 Corinthians 9:27).

WISDOM FROM OSWALD CHAMBERS

We have no right to judge where we should be put, or to have preconceived notions as to what God is fitting us for. God engineers everything; wherever He puts us, our one great aim is to pour out a whole-hearted devotion to Him in that particular work. 14 Feb 2016 service The Tree of knowledge

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?" And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.' " Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
Genesis 3:1-7 NKJV

But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
II Corinthians 11:3 NKJV

History of 2 families
Sons of God vs sons of the evil ones
God's power was rooted in the tree
We are called to be godlike not God
God is God we are not

3 things the woman  saw
1.The tree was good
2.Pleasant to the eyes
3.It could makes one wise

After they ate of the tree (outcome)
1. Self - awareness - they became self focus. Self centredness .
thinking of yourself less is humility
2. The man of sin is the culmination (大成)
3. Babylon  (confusion). We gather only and only for Jesus, not to build empire. Not to build cornerstone
4. The power of the Law. Thru the law we derived the darkness of evil

Tree of knowledge - we don't want God to involve in our lives

The protection of the woman is under the covenant. Under the authority of man.

Stop eating from the trees of knowledge

1. Issue of source.
Tree of knowledge was good for food.
Before they eat the tree of knowledge, they did not worry about provision.
*Jesus said He cannot do anything until He sees his father. This is His source.
Trust God for your provision otherwise you are eating from the tree of knowledge.
God provides and protects.
He was a father before he was a creator.
Sparrow does not worry abt food. The lilies do not worry what to wear. Oh ye of little faith!

Jesus said:" I have food to eat that you have no knowledge about "
Complete TRUST
We need very little in life to survive

6 universal value
God
Live
body
Money
food and
clothing

Jesus is saying we have more important thing in life than food and clothing
Matthew 6:24

Values have a hierarchy:
*God vs mammon
Money is not the ultimate value for Christian thought it is for the world

*Life vs food
Life is more than food.
Who is our source? Do we trust God for provision
Not driven by our belly

*Body vs cloth/things
Yr body is more important than what you wear

God is the provider
God is the healer
God is peace. You have to forfeit the right to understand.

Tithe has to go to the storehouse. No choice
Offering can go to your choice of where you want to give.

Pleasant to the eyes - the lust of the eyes
If you want to see the unseen you have to learn not to see what you should not see

Jesus only show what the Father showed Him

Deceit: Fruit of knowledge made one wise
True wisdom - James 3:17
This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
James 3:15-18 NKJV

Who is your source?
Make God my source.
I will experience victory. Undefeated

Ask God to show you.
Change your "diet" eat from tree of life.
Dont forget the hierarchy

Have you ever write a song out of love even when no one listen?
Have you ever take a family photo just out of love not to send to Facebook,  friends or anyone?
Have you ever paint a picture out of love when no one appreciate?
Have you ever ask me what is love to me?
Have you ever treat a family member better than you treat a friend?
Would you love me unconditionally even when I no longer able to love?
Have you ever do for me simply because you love me regardless whether you are appreciated?

12 Feb 2016 YWAM staff conference

I was in the morning worship at YWAM staff conference.

When we were singing Holy Spirit come....
For abt 2 sec I smell a fragrance and then no more.
I tried to find out the source of that fragrance but no clue where it came from.

The fragrance of Christ Jesus offered to God in the worship of His people.

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
Ephesians 5:1-2 NKJV

Drinking water=>Living water=>Holy Spirit

Question: "What did Jesus mean when He spoke of living water?"

Answer: Jesus uses the phrase "living water" in two instances in the Bible. The first instance is found in John chapter 4. Jesus was tired and sat at a well while His disciples went into town to buy food. A Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus asked her for a drink. The Samaritan woman was quite shocked because Jesus was a Jew, and Jews simply hated the Samaritans. Of course, she had no idea who Jesus was and asked Him how He could ask her for water since He was a Jew.

Jesus ignored the question and went right to the point, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water" (John 4:10). Notice that He does not say that He is the living water, but that He would give living water to her, and when she received it, she would never thirst again. Of course, that does not tell us what the living water is! For that, we must go to another passage of Scripture. In this case, Jesus is in the temple surrounded by a throng of worshippers. He suddenly cried out, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scriptures said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.' But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified" (John 7:37–39, emphasis added).

Here Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit as the living water. External influence of the Spirit had always been given in the conversion and sanctification of the Old Testament saints and prophets, but the gift of the Spirit who would indwell believers had not yet been received (Acts 10:44–45). So, though many people say that Jesus is the living water, Jesus Himself intended the phrase to mean the Holy Spirit who dwells in believers and seals them for salvation (Ephesians 1:13–14). It is the ministry of the Spirit, flowing out of a heart redeemed by God, that blesses believers and, through them, brings life and light to the world.

Counsel in the heart of man is  like deep water, But a man of understanding will draw it out.
Proverbs 20:5 NKJV

But He needed to go through Samaria. So He came to a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour. A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give Me a drink."  For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, "How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water." The woman said to Him, "Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?" Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,  but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life." The woman said to Him, "Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw." Jesus said to her, "Go, call your husband, and come here." The woman answered and said, "I have no husband." Jesus said to her, "You have well said, 'I have no husband,'  for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly." The woman said to Him, "Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship." Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.  You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.  But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.  God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." The woman said to Him, "I know that Messiah is coming" (who is called Christ). "When He comes, He will tell us all things." Jesus said to her, "I who speak to you am He. " And at this point His disciples came, and they marveled that He talked with a woman; yet no one said, "What do You seek?" or, "Why are You talking with her?" The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, "Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?" Then they went out of the city and came to Him. In the meantime His disciples urged Him, saying, "Rabbi, eat." But He said to them, "I have food to eat of which you do not know." Therefore the disciples said to one another, "Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?" Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.  Do you not say, 'There are still four months and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!  And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.  For in this the saying is true: 'One sows and another reaps.'  I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors." And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, "He told me all that I ever did." So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. And many more believed because of His own word. Then they said to the woman, "Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world."
John 4:4-42 NKJV

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.  He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."  But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
John 7:37-39 NKJV

Dream 5 Feb 2016

I was in mission trip.
We were discarding the plastic bottles used to contain water for drinking.
However I felt that we still need it to contain water as we still had 1 more night in the hotel and we need water to drink. So we went to a stall to buy drink. My mission buddy got to buy her drink a big glass bottle. However when I wanted to buy, the stall keeper said she had no more and she needed to travel a distance to get 1 bottle for me. I waited and waited but I was getting impatient. So I used a zip-bog bag to scoop some water, but it was not water but soup with noodles. However I did not take it but leave it at the stall. Water is clear but the soup is oily, I felt it could not quench my thirst.

Are You Ready To Be Poured Out As an Offering? (1) | My Utmost For His Highest

Are You Ready To Be Poured Out As an Offering? (1) | My Utmost For His Highest

If I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. —Philippians 2:17

Are you willing to sacrifice yourself for the work of another believer—to pour out your life sacrificially for the ministry and faith of others? Or do you say, "I am not willing to be poured out right now, and I don't want God to tell me how to serve Him. I want to choose the place of my own sacrifice. And I want to have certain people watching me and saying, 'Well done.' "

It is one thing to follow God's way of service if you are regarded as a hero, but quite another thing if the road marked out for you by God requires becoming a "doormat" under other people's feet. God's purpose may be to teach you to say, "I know how to be abased…" (Philippians 4:12). Are you ready to be sacrificed like that? Are you ready to be less than a mere drop in the bucket— to be so totally insignificant that no one remembers you even if they think of those you served? Are you willing to give and be poured out until you are used up and exhausted— not seeking to be ministered to, but to minister? Some saints cannot do menial work while maintaining a saintly attitude, because they feel such service is beneath their dignity.

WISDOM FROM OSWALD CHAMBERS

To live a life alone with God does not mean that we live it apart from everyone else. The connection between godly men and women and those associated with them is continually revealed in the Bible, e.g., 1 Timothy 4:10.  Not Knowing Whither, 867 L

Words from King Jesus - My Majesty

I have set you free and cast out all fears in you. Be free! Run to Me! In the pasture in the green field. I am love. My grace is sufficient for you. My love flow in you and through you like a river. You will never be tired to love. My love heals you and shield you from any offend any hurt any grieve and any pain. You are in this world but not of this world. I shield you and sealed you with My Holy Spirit. He is the evidence that you are Mine. Flow with Him. He will guide you lead you where to go. Lavished yourself with my unfailing love.
I have loved you. Do not say 'In what way have You loved us?' Jacob I have loved;
Malachi 1:2 NKJV
I have called and chosen you to be Mine. You belong to Me. You do not do or work to gain, you do and work because of who you are in Me. You enjoy and rejoice in what you are doing because of who you are in Me. You do it not for gain, not for profit not for compliments not so that you can be loved. You do and work because you have been loved by Me. This is My will for you, that you bosom in Me, that you know and so sure of who you are. How can you make Me known to the nations if you do not know Me and if you are unsure that I love you unconditionally? My love is not negotiable. I will not love you more or lesser by your behaviours. I love you for My Name sake. I am who I am. I am love. Nothing could change Me. I am the same yesterday today forever. You change your mind all the time you are unsure and waver. I never change. My love is perfect. Do not use mankind standard to define Me. I do not love like you and them. I love as I am. I am who I am. I do not need to explain Myself. I am looking for those who trust in Me, those whose transgression I have forgiven. I am pleased with My Son so I am pleased with you. He is in you and you are in Him. Abide in My Son all the time. My perfect love cast out all fears.

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.
I John 4:17-19 NKJV

Blessed is  he  whose  transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord  does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there  is no deceit. When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long. For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. Selah I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord ," And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him. You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you. Many sorrows shall  be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the Lord , mercy shall surround him. Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

Dream 2 Feb 2016 The 2 sisters china and korea

2 sisters in the dream. Elder sister is china and younger sister is Korea. There was reconciliation between the 2 sisters even though they were of different mother (nations) but same Father (heavenly Father, husband) Heart of compassion in China and heart of compliance and humility in Korea. China had compassion on korea and korea is willing to humble herself.

Message from the messenger (stranger in my dream presenting to me by demonstrating his body language):
To resolve, the 2 sides (left hand and right hand) must pull the same connection gradually until the stronghold is broken. Do not pull aggressively, it may break the arm of either side.
Both sides (arms) are from the same body.

China and North Korea have, in the past, enjoyed close diplomatic relations. However, China-North Korea relations have declined markedly over the past few years. The decline in China-North Korea relations is primarily due to growing concern in China over issues such as North Korea's nuclear weapons programand its impoundment of Chinese fishing boats.
